How to reset for 2021? Reflect and set your goals properly? The 4x4 Method

The year is, for sure, coming to an end—a challenging year for most.

To be able to turn this year into a bucket of potential still, I'm here to share with you my 4x4 method.

All you need is four pieces of paper, or your journal, pens you like, and some quiet time to get cozy and reflective.

Let's get started.

1.) Achievements of 2020

The first paper and category you want to focus on are 4 things you've achieved.

Write down "My achievements of.. 2020" and then distribute your 4 achievements onto the paper. You need a little bit of space because now we want to create a 4x4 for every category. Meaning for each achievement, ask yourself: What are your 4 gains from each of them?

2.) Grateful for in 2020

The next category is all about gratitude. Gratitude is a powerful emotion. If not the most powerful one.

What are 4 things you are truly grateful for in 2020? Little or big.

Write down "I am so grateful for..." and then again 4 things..."

And then, take each of the four and think about what you want to do in 2021 to keep this fire burning.

3.) Professional Goals for 2021

The next category is a 4x4 on your goals: What do you want to achieve in 2021? What are 4 things you'd like to have ticked at the end of 2021? Professionally.

Then, look at each one of your goals and ask yourself: What are 4 things that need to be done to get there.

4.) Personal Goals for 2021

And for the last paper and category: What do you want to achieve in 2021 personally?

Again, write down the 4 things you wish most for in 2021. And then 4 things that need to be done for each to become a reality.

Make sure to hang it up, so you can see, and it's no one-time project. If you like, add deadlines or due dates.

And then: simply rock that year called 2021.

Forward this exercise to friends and family so they can benefit as well.

Lots of love and till soon here on this channel.
